I must say that the Wanderer is right.


number of mafia * (att+def skills) + total attack equipment + total defense equipment


I was wrong because my hypothesis only works with same amount of mafia.

Total defense equipment is from the same fight because if I defend I use different equipment?
It could be bad because in defending, according to this formula, I can select weapons with great defense but small attack and ma combo number would be lower.
So if we know the right formula we would know what weapon is not for having at all.
I am just interested for right logic in fights and I am glad I found people who are interested for this too.
Or this game is not so perfect as we can see if this is the right formula.

I highly doubt this stuff is limited to simple arithmetic. Surely there is some other algebraic expresions or factoring involved with the MAFIA* that keeps things somewhat more in proportion. The damage each receives seems to show there is a randomness factor or factor based on health or activity against one another involved so maybe it so also on purely a win/loss calculation.. don't know as I am new, just throwing that out there for consideration. The wife is doing some trinomoly factoring in school and although I can do it with here I can barely keep up to the craziness of it. Math will make you go nut!

I've got a question about your calculator. This part here:

Energy Regeneration:

* Mogul/Fearless = 288 per 24hrs
* Maniac = 480 per 24hrs



Energy Regeneration (Master Boss):

* Mogul/Fearless = 640 per 24hrs
* Maniac = 1152 per 24hrs

Energy Req. (Level 131) = 560

Energy Req. is the recommended minimum for 'one refresh' levelling based on your current level.


Does that mean that once I earn a title "Master Boss", that my energy will fill faster? I am "fearless" and I do have the 288 energy.. so does this mean it's still "worth it" to have more than that? I've heard about not wanting more than that for my fearless tag.. and I've put a lot into stamina to make up for it.. but could you explain this part better?

One more conclusion, in order to bring Prop Planes in fight (2, 30), you have to sell every gateway cruiser and a sufficient number of town cars.

then, is no mater if I put my points in att or def?

att 10, def 50 = att 50, def 10 ?

I believe there are more to the formula.. things like
Critical hit calculation:
-more attack points = more chance to critical hit
-more defense points = less chance being critical hit
-no critical hit factor for hitlist

Just my speculation

There are several factors that determine who will win a fight:

1. Crew size

2. Power of items (attack when attacking, defense when defending)

3. Attack and Defense stats

This is from Zynga so let us check our (members) formula.
1. Crew is important and you say that.
2. Read this. My conclusion is that they do not count attack power when you defend or defense power of weapon when you attack. And in formula you put it together.
3. It seems that it is together and attack and defense is important no matter if you attack or defend but this is not so clear.

I got it from their support site and I asked them a question which gonna solve all that mystery. If I get the answer.

Wanderer, thanks for such a great tool. I just tried it myself. Great for documenting the different areas where a player needs to work on to improve.

One thing I did notice was that it didn't compute my attack for my 187 Chrome Skylines. I did notice in the breakdown of the different weapons, armor, and vehicles that it had the A/D for the chrome skylines.

So if Wanderer's formula is correct,
if let say we have 100 mafia members and 10 Prop Planes (5A+20D=25),
In attacking mode, the best is not to have more than 90 towncars (10A+12D=22) and 0 gateway cruiser (6A+7D=13)
to let system pick Prop Plane instead of towncar or gateway cruiser.

Am I right?

if the attack and def stats are just added to the total.... then the mafia having superior weapons should always win right... but sometimes i have noticed that people do win despite having inferior weapons.. .. people using 100+ bonus weapons .and less than 400...mafia members win... (i'm not talking about the critical hits) now bonus weapons have 20/20 stat so if i use all the limited loot weapons then lets say i have a the minimum advantage of 2 points (the limited loot used to have 22 attack and 21 def now it has increased though) right...which means 100*2 =200 points at the minimum...

now i will have 100 member advantage so i will have 100*22 = 2200 points advantage .,,, this is only in the weapons section... now it will apply to the armor and vehicles also ...

so i have 501 mafia members and still loose to someone with less than 400 members... how is this possible if the attack/def stats are simply added.... to the overall fight stats.... coz i am lvl 140+ and there is no way someone will have a def stats of 2400 at my lvl....

and i am writing this because i have lost to people who are same lvl as me and having 360 mafia members plus or minus 5 members...

i hope you all understood me... if i'm wrong please correct me

@ hellboy. Attack and defense is not simply added to the stats. Your combat stats actually appear to play a much larger role in your combat value then your weapons do. I think I know where you made your mistake so I'll try and explain it.

number of mafia * (att+def skills) + total attack equipment + total defense equipment

Now to make this equation work you need to first add the stats within the parenthesis so you would add your attack and defense stats together.

After doing that you would then multiply that number by the number of mafia you have.

THEN you would add your weapons total attack and total defense to the equation.

So if you had 501 mafia and your attack was 1 and your defense was 1 and you were using weapons, armor, and vehicles that were all 1 attack/1 defense items then it would work like this. 501*(1+1) which = 1002. Then you would add to that the 501 of each item so 501 weapons of 1/1 which again equals 1002 and after doing it for armor and cars also comes out to your equipment being worth 3006 which you then add to your stats bonus to = 4008.

I know this makes equipment sound powerful as it accounts for 3/4 of the above information but the thing you need to keep in mind is that your equipment tops out with the most powerful equipment I know of equaling 30/30. So at 501 mafia equiped with 501 of that kind of equipment it would = 30060. As such it would require your combined attack and defense stats to equal 60 to match that. So if you had 30/30 items for all 3 types of equipment, you would need a total of 180 between your normal attack and defense skills.

So as you can see, your bonus's for weapons max out fairly quickly and become quite minimal compared to your ever growing attack and defense skills.
