I just got 501 toenail cutters, so my att is a whopping 35k+, def is 30k+ but working on those 501 Yugos. I finally got barely above 1k on each so I am well on my way to mediocrity.

Hi Guys - haven't been here for ages, but quick update

I've made some changes to the Calculator.

1. Ctrl+A the copy and paste the ENTIRE scren to the calculator. This allows me to see your Mafia Attack and Mafia Defense strengths, so I no longer need to add up the individual equipment stats ... and you don't need to enter your attac and defense anymore.

2. The formula to work out Comabt Score has been changed slightly. After the Zynga formulas changed, we haven't been able to work out the exact combat formula,but the general consensus is that only attack stats count when attacking andonly defense when defending. I've changed the formula to reflect this, but at the same time kept COMBAT SCORE as close as possible to what it was before.

For Combat Score, I'm using the square root of
(ATT+DEF) * MAFIA + (MAFIA.ATT.STR + MAF.DEF.STR) / 2 * 1.5
This is still a fairly good indicator of your overall fighting ability, but obviously some are stronger in attack and others in defense.

I've also introduced two additional values Combat Score (attacking) and Combat Score (defending)

Combat Score (attacking) is the square root of
(ATT * 2) * MAFIA + MAF.ATT.STR * 1.5

Combat Score (defending) is the square root of
(DEF * 2) * MAFIA + MAFIA.DEF.STR * 1.5

If your attack and defence are equal and your mafia attack strength and mafia defense strength equal (or very close) then all three values should be the same.

A> We don't know the exact formula so I was more interested in keping the COMBAT SCORE value close to what it was previously. Previously the formula used ATT+DEF of attacking equipment where the attack values were used to select the equipment, so defense values were often quite a bit lower. So instead of ATT+DEF I'm using ATT*1.5 for attacking and DEF*1.5 for defending ... and (ATT+DEF) / 2 * 1.5 for the combined COMBAT SCORE.

No it's no longer accurate, but Combat Score has other uses and it is still a fair reflection of fighting strength.

Do you agree that 1 skill point is still equivalent to 35 equipment points when under level 400?

your combat score was more than acceptable when 1 skill point was equal to 501 equipment points (because of the square root calculation)
